Pay Transparency is the law in California

Gavin Newson just passed pay transparency into California law (Effective January 1st, 2022).

California is the latest state to mandate compensation advertising. The state legislature approved a bill Tuesday that would require all employers in the state with at least 15 workers to include the hourly rate or salary range on job listings.

New York, Colorado, and Washington State require salary and or salary ranges to be included in ads, and another seven U.S. states mandate disclosure during interviews and offer negotiation.
